Subject: I like(d) Nick but...

I think it's about they write off the character, if even for a short
time. He's no longer whith Chelsea, who always treated him badly. And
since Chels was going after Doctor Dan, it was the perfect opportunity
to set up Nick someone else. What not a sexy but SMART college girl?
It would have been great to have Nick assume some gorgeous blonde (or
brunette, etc) was an airhead, only to find out she was also
intelligent. And it would have been interesting to see Chelsea react
to seeing Nick being so happy and in love with someone else. (Someone
who wasn't so needy.)
Nick has no storyline at the moment. He was involved with a story
involving his work with the environment but that died quickly. Now
his only role seems to be beng around in crises and to lend support to
others, especially Max.
